Q

I got a brief quote from Mark Twain off of goodreads.com...how should I cite that in my paper? Or should I cite Mark Twain? As an interview?

Great question!

You need to cite this as a quote from Mark Twain. The tricky part would be to find out if it is from one of his stories or if it is from just an interview.

Your best bet is to try and locate where it came from. If not go ahead and just cite it from GoodReads as an online database.

Let me know if you have anymore questions!

Thanks,

Jordon
