I saw a poster in the library about getting free and complete access to the NYT online (on the staircase between the 2nd and 3rd floors). I never wrote down the directions and school is no longer in session. What can I do to access the NYT online through Central?

Answer

Thank you for your question. The New York Times (NYT) Group Pass is only active during the academic year so Central College students don't currently have access to NYT online. However, the library does have current issues in print and back issues in microfilm. You can also find New York Times articles citations in the library database Newspapers Source Plus. This summer the library is open to the public through the month of June, Mon-Fri 9:00am to 12:00pm. Please let us know if you need any further help, have any additional questions, etc. Have a great summer!
